Little Books
A4 Fold book
You will need:
- A4 sheet of paper
To make:
- Fold the A4 sheet three times to get lines like this.
![[fold three times to give 8 sections]](/images/c-a41.jpg)
Fold the full sheet in half along the narrow side,
then cut from the centre of the folded edge half way
to the centre.
Open up and fold in half lengthways, then push the
ends together to fully open up the centre section.-
Fold the flaps to forrm an A6 size book. There is
no need for glue or staples unless you really want
to - this makes a very good little passport.
Little Books
You will need:
- 3 DL size envelopes
- pieces of thick card
- pieces of thin card
- ribbon
- wrapping paper
and for decoration
- stickers, material, pictures, buttons, glitter etc.
To make:
- For the pages:
- Stick the envelope flaps down, then fold in half and cut the ends off; this makes two pockets. You will have 3 pairs in all
- Make 3 or 4 holes in the folded edge
- Make thin card squares to slip into the pockets, making sure not to cover the holes. These card inserts can be decorated as shown
For the cover:
- Cut 2 squares of thick card slightly larger than the folded envelope and cover them together with wrapping paper. Make matching holes before you cover them, then poke through with a pencil
- Fold the cover in half around the envelope pages, and put ribbon through the holes and tie loosely
