So, you’d like to help us raise funds for Faurefold?
As well as our periodic fundraising initiatives (details on our News Blog) we have other ways in which you can donate directly (your own money) and indirectly (someone else’s money) to the Faurefold Redevelopment Fund.
Our target is £400,000 and, as at May 2016, we have raised £350,000.
- easyfundraising. When you buy items or services online (from a range of around 2000 merchants) by going through a portal site like easyfundraising, a percentage of your spend is donated to Faurefold. The percentage varies by merchant, but Amazon for example gives 2%. To make this even easier there is a little Find and Remind application which automatically routes your purchase through easyfundraising whenever you buy from a participating merchant if you use a PC or Mac (you can use easyfundraising on a smart phone, but you can’t use Find & Reward). easyfundraising is also a good price comparison site, and has many voucher codes to offer too. I raised over £30 this year buying Christmas presents at no cost to me!
- mydonate. Sponsored by BT, we’re now able to accept online donations online – and we can to claim Gift Aid as well. You can use this service (which costs Faurefold nothing) to send individual donations, or perhaps the results of Unit fundraising.
- By post. We’re very happy to accept donations by cheque of course, either from individuals or from Units, corporate sponsors etc. Make your cheque out to Faurefold Fundraising and send it to this address (hover, don’t click!).
