This secluded campsite is an SSSI which is owned by the National Trust. It is situated on the edge of the North Downs, north of Reigate, within easy access of junction 8 of the M25. Access is via a bridleway and a zig-zag path with a set of steps. There is parking for 3 cars.
The site is well equipped with heavyweight and lightweight tents. Catering equipment for company and patrol cooking is provided, although campers will need to bring their own utensils and cleaning materials.
There is a wash block and chemical toilets.
The site has a large hut with a gas hotplate and gas fridge and a supply of tables and benches.
There are pioneering poles and ropes on site along with leaflets for a Nature Trail and walks, and several large games.
This is a unique site, hidden away but within 15 minutes
of Reigate Station.
