DESCRIPTION:To all Young Leaders in Surrey East county \nYou are invited to spend a fun weekend at Bentley Copse in Guidford from 7.30pm on Friday 11 Sept to 3.30pm on Sunday 13 September. You will meet other young leaders from across the county\, whilst learning about the young leader development programme (YLDP)\, having fun doing adventurous activities and finding out about other opportunities available to young leaders. \nProgramme? We will be running a programme decided by you!\nWhen you register\, you will be able pick 4 activities you’d like to try or know you love and we’ll arrange the most popular. We’ll be doing a mix of training\, adventurous activities and team building games. \nCost? To secure your place\, complete this form and please pay a £20 non-refundable deposit to Surrey East (details below) by 17 July 2026. Please pay the £40 balance by 14th August. It’s packed with top pop performances and gives Guides\, Rangers and leaders a fun\, safe space to come together\, celebrate Girlguiding and enjoy an unforgettable show with friends. On Saturday 10 October 2026\, we’re taking over Wembley Arena for 2 amazing shows. SUMMARY:Musigals 2028 - Saturday 11 March 2028
DESCRIPTION:Sign up to join the planning team now\nMusigals 2028 is a musical extravaganza to be held at Dorking Halls for units to get involved in. Acts will be able to sign up in 2027.  Right now – we are looking for volunteers to join this amazing\, county event planning team.  There are roles to suit everyone. Please note all volunteers will need to be registered on GO and have a current DBS check and safer guiding. \nIn 2013\, 2017 and 2022 Girlguiding Surrey East put on a show\, Musigals\, using a local theatre. The show included acts that danced\, sang\, acted and even did gymnastics. These were based on themes from different Musicals. Our talented members varied from the youngest Rainbow through Brownies\, Guides\, Rangers and to Leaders and members of the Trefoil Guild\, some were solos and duets to full ensembles of units and more!  Units rehearse together in their unit meetings and then there are 3 main rehearsals for the entire cast plus the day and evening of the show. These shows were such a success we would like to do it again and involve even more of the County!  \nHow to apply\nTo apply to join the planning team\, please review the available roles and submit your application by 30 September 2026. \nApplication form \n  \n
