SUMMARY:Faurefold Low Ropes Team Challenge – Leaders briefing- September- Day time - weekend
DESCRIPTION:Faurefold are pleased to be able to open a new Low Ropes Team Challenge Course at the site in the Spring of 2023. The course is made up of 8 different elements which can be adapted for different age groups and abilities. The course will not only be open to those who camp or holiday at the site but also for units who want a fun and exciting evening activity. \nIn order to use the Low Ropes Course one group leader must undertake this short briefing session. Only certified leaders will be able to book an activity session on the low rope challenge.

There will be training including a walk each day and a badge for anyone completing both days. \nAs well as the two days of training\, to be certified for your Level 1 Walking Qualification there is a water safety module to complete\, a walk log book to record your own walks and you will need a valid first response qualification. DESCRIPTION:This year we’re celebrating 25 years of SCRAM in a new location! The triennial event for Surrey Cub Scouts and Brownies will be held at Apps Court Farm on the Saturday 20 June 2026.  If you are new to Guiding or have never been\, prepare to be amazed!  It really is an activity day to remember! \nIf you are not in the Brownie section\, the Brownie leaders would really appreciate your help with running events\, so please consider offering to support a unit on the day. \nThe SCRAM 2026 website is now open at https://www.surrey-scouts.org.uk/events/scram which will give you lots of information and more will be added in the coming months. DESCRIPTION:To all Young Leaders in Surrey East county \nYou are invited to spend a fun weekend at Bentley Copse in Guidford from 7.30pm on Friday 11 Sept to 3.30pm on Sunday 13 September. You will meet other young leaders from across the county\, whilst learning about the young leader development programme (YLDP)\, having fun doing adventurous activities and finding out about other opportunities available to young leaders. \nProgramme? We will be running a programme decided by you!\nWhen you register\, you will be able pick 4 activities you’d like to try or know you love and we’ll arrange the most popular. We’ll be doing a mix of training\, adventurous activities and team building games. \nCost? To secure your place\, complete this form and please pay a £20 non-refundable deposit to Surrey East (details below) by 17 July 2026. Please pay the £40 balance by 14th August. SUMMARY:Surrey East Leaders Weekend 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a weekend of fun and friendship\nOur county leaders’ weekend will be held at Youlbury Scout site\, based in Oxford\, costing £135 per head. This price includes all meals from Friday evening including Sunday lunch (some of which will be catered by us)\, plus 3 adventurous activities and a badge for all participants.  We have booked Bear’s Den\, a purpose-built lodge with en-suite rooms of 1\, 2 and 4 people.
