Last night Christine Moss was awarded a certificate of recognition for her long service with Girlguiding at the Central Surrey Voluntary Action awards evening. Christine who had been nominated by Mary Zoeller and Clare Coker, started as a guide in Ashtead. She has since run units in all of Leatherhead’s districts, serving as Bookham and Effingham district commissioner, as well as Leatherhead division commissioner. Thank you for more than 40 years of being such a supportive leader and so generous with your time and spirit.
In addition she received on behalf of Girlguiding Surrey East, the Team Certificate of Recognition. For all you wonderful volunteers who run units throughout the county, week after week, giving girls fantastic opportunities that they will always remember. Be proud of what you do, your time, your efforts, your fun, you are valued and recognised!
