First Response
1st response training were created specifically for members of Girlguiding and The Scout Association.
The course will teach you to deal with emergencies inside or outside your meeting place.
There are 3 options for completion:
Face to Face Full Course
The full six hour course is run over a full day or over two evenings and includes all the modules and the practical session.
Completion of the e-learning on the Girlguiding Learning Platform is also required.
Blended Learning Course
This option blends together a two hour practical face to face session and two additional sessions in an interactive webinar each lasting two hours.
All elements to be completed within 3 months.
Completion of the e-learning on the Girlguiding Learning Platform is also required.
External Qualification
Volunteers who have external first aid qualifications which cover both child and adult basic life support may not need to complete a full First Response Course. Contact info@girlguidinglaser.org.uk with a copy of your certificate and the course syllabus.
