Over 500 Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from Surrey East and Surrey West joined in the fun at our Growing Up Wild event at Norbury Park on Saturday 15th October.
The girls had the chance to search for minibeasts, make mud pies in the mud kitchen, make stick sculptures and dress up as slugs. While Rainbows identified plants and trees, Brownies made stick men and Guides got stuck in with conservation work in the woodland. Other activities included building wigwams, learning to light a fire with flint and steel, and of course toasting marshmallows over a campfire!
HM Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey Mr Michael More-Molyneux and the High Sheriff of Surrey Richard Whittington were also in attendance to watch the fun had by all.
Below are some photos taken from the day – can you spot yourself or your unit?
