Kate Fowles and Angela Hammond were awarded the County Good Service brooch at the County First Response training held at Faurefold by Beverly Heywood-Jones, County Commissioner.
Kate is an excellent County First Response Trainer bringing both her practical experience as a volunteer and her skills as a trainer to the benefit of everyone who attends. In addition, she is Guide leader for 5th Dorking Guides and Division Commissioner for Leith Hill.
Angela has managed the administration for County First Response training for 3 years and supports the training with her professional nursing experiences.
The Good Service brooch is presented by the County Commissioner to volunteers who provide excellent service to the County. Angela and Kate were nominated for the award by the former County Commissioner – Lesley Bailey. Congratulations to them both.
