Charity Nicholls receives a Good Service Award for successfully carrying out the role of County Communications and PR Adviser over the past 3.5 years. This included essential communications during Covid and organising some fantastic County-wide virtual events during the Covid lock down: the bake off, the Stayabout, and the pet show. She helped to develop the County website, and delivered regular social media updates on the website, Facebook and Instagram. She also managed any queries receive centrally to the right person to address.
Beverly Heywood-Jones, County Commissioner, thanked Charity for all she has done and presented the award at Faurefold in the presence of her whole unit where they were enjoying a Brownie Holiday. Congratulations too to Charity as she was married last month.
The role of County Communications and PR Adviser has now been handed over to Megan Maton. We wish Megan success in her new role and welcome her to the County team.
