The County team met on Saturday 24th September at Faurefold to develop the County Plan for the next 3-4 years.  It was well attended with representation across all 6 Divisions.  We also welcomed the Region Assistant Chief Commissioner responsible for the Girl experience – Sian Reis and our County President Laura West.

Experienced trainer, Kate Fowles ably facilitated an interactive session to consider what we, as a county, do well and areas we need to improve.  There is more work to do, but we made good progress with lots of positive input from all the attendees there.

It was a great opportunity to recognise long service, with a 40-year service award for Beverly Heywood-Jones (County Commissioner) and a 30-year award for Lorna Smith (County Training Adviser and Division Commissioner for Godstone).  Sue Corrance, District Commissioner for Caterham Hill also received her GirlGuiding Going Away With Licence. Congratulations to all the award winners.
