Congratulations to Janet Coninx who has done an amazing job leading the transition from the old Leadership qualification to the new leadership development programme. We had 12 months to ensure that anyone who had started on the old scheme was able to complete any outstanding modules by the deadline. This included some assistant leaders completing their module to become fully qualified. On 30th September 2023, the old scheme was finally withdrawn.
Janet was presented a county good service award at the County day to thank her for this excellent achievement.
Now anyone who would like to become a Girlguiding leader will need to complete the Become a Girlguiding leader training.
