Volunteers across Reigate and Banstead were invited to a reception by the Mayor of Reigate & Banstead Councillor Eddy Humphreys, to thank them all for their service to the community and to recognise this vital role that guiding and scouting has. His theme for this year is “togetherness” and this was a great opportunity to bring people together. Cllr Humphreys welcomed us and thanked us for all we do, and then we learned more about the town hall, its history, the mayoral robes and had a fascinating tour.
He also offered that if units would like to visit the town hall and learn more about it, they should email mayor@reigate-banstead.gov.uk to arrange a date.
