Last night was the Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet evening at Loseley Park where HM Lord Lieutenant Michael More-Molyneux thanked the outgoing cadets and welcomed the new ones including Epsom Ranger Iris Aryeetey representing Girlguiding Surrey East.
Brigadier Paul Evans, Deputy Lieutenant, briefed the seven new cadets on their cadet role to support the Lord Lieutenant or his deputy on royal visits and a wide variety of civic duties and occasions in the county.
Iris joins other outstanding cadets from uniformed organisations in Surrey representing the best of Surrey youth.
